About Us
IPS provides consultants to assist in the design, engineering, commissioning and startup of new rubber production facilities. We also provide troubleshooting services that improves existing plant processes.
The company was founded by Wei Chen, P. Eng. Wei has over 15 years of working experience as a chemical engineer for the production of rubber (IIR, HIIR, PBR,…). She was the engineering, commissioning and startup manager for the halo butyl rubber plant in Singapore which came successfully on stream in 2013.
Other consultants on the team have decades of engineering and/or operating experience in IIR, HIIR, BR and EPDM plants. Many worked with Wei in the Singapore project.
The consultants assisted the commissioning and start-up of two IIR plants in China recently. The team also provided benchmarking analysis for an Indian elastomer plant and has been working on the process improvement assessment of a Russian production facility. The recommendations from the analysis and assessment are well received by the customers which lead to significant CapEx and OpEx savings.
